About Us: Air Quality
Task Force
The Air
Quality Task Force was established as part of the Early Action
Plan (EAP) for the Eastern Panhandle. The members of the
task force provide support, guidance and over site to the program
as it is implemented.
EPA
research has found that idling your car for 10 seconds uses
more fuel than is needed to restart the engine. Make your
car an idle free zone, it just takes a turn of the key
Air Quality
Task Force members represent a cross section of the Eastern Panhandle.
Members include elected officials, County and City employees and
members of the business community. Theses individuals work
together to help clean the air in the Eastern Panhandle.
If you
or your organization are interested in participating in the Air
Quality Task Force, go to the Contact
Us page of the web site and
send the program manager an email.
Together,
we can make a difference and clean the air in the Eastern Panhandle. |
