The Air Quality Program
strives to inform and educate the general public on matters of ground
level ozone pollution. This is accomplished by making presentations
and providing educational material to the general public.
This also includes working with other organizations trying to improve
the quality of our air.
Reduce
warm-up idling time. Most cars only need 30 seconds before
you can start driving.
Listed below are organizations
the Air Quality Program is currently working with to reduce air
pollution.
- The I-81Coalition to
address the air pollution issues of Interstate 81.
- The Potomac Headwaters
RC&D to address air quality issues that affect the region.
- AARP Driver Safety Program.
This program is including a section on ozone pollution during the
course.
