The Air
Quality Program strives to educate and inform the citizens of
the Eastern Panhandle about ozone pollution. Listed below
are recent activities of the program.
If you
have an organization that would like to hear more about ozone
pollution, its affect on your health and steps you can take to
help clean the air, go to the About
Us section of the web site and click on Contact
Us.
During
an air quality alert, your lung capacity can be reduced by up
to 20% due to the excess of ozone you are breathing. Reduce
your physical activities during an air quality alert.
